I deserved some rejections for not reading the places I&#039;d subbed. But I learned fast that I was being obnoxious.  Recently I rejected a submission because it was very similar to a story I had published a couple of weeks prior. He responded:

&lt;blockquote&gt;Ya, I&#039;m not really someone who reads nanoism regularly. How far should I look through your archive before submitting instead of wasting our time again?&lt;/blockquote&gt;
