Hanged Or Hung?

A good time tonight hanging out with authors Steve Umstead, Griffin Hayes, and Joe Hart. We hung out for nearly two hours, talking about -- you guessed it -- writing and publishing and whatever else. There were some technical problems I want to get sorted out before I host another hangout -- like, it seems Google+ Hangouts are not open to just anybody, but rather you first have to be in someone's circles -- so there's that. When will there be another hangout? Who knows. But it was definitely fun talking shop with people I've ever only corresponded with via Twitter or email or blogs. Now, have you seen the trailer for Skyfall yet? I'm psyched. I'm probably the only person who actually enjoyed Quantum of Solace. I think Daniel Craig makes a great Bond -- more true to the actual character Ian Fleming created. I have high hopes for this one.

In Which I Read Chapter 4 Of The Inner Circle

I hope you people enjoyed yesterday's podcast with special guest J.F. Gonzalez. I don't know about you, but I had fun. I hope to do many more guest podcasts in the future. For now, I bring you chapter four of The Inner Circle. If you haven't heard the previous chapters yet, you can do so here. Have a great weekend, and hey, don't forget about Monday night!

The Inner Circle Chapter 4

In Which J.F. Gonzalez And I Talk About Publishing

J.F. Gonzalez was kind enough to take an hour out of his day to talk with me about publishing, especially the recent fiasco of Undead Press screwing over writers. The links for those two writers in particular are here -- When publishing goes wrong…Starring Undead Press -- and here -- Suffering in Silence. Also, while we were talking, this shit happened. Seriously, this Anthony Giangregorio is insane, and I hope he gets his ass locked up. For the time being, enjoyed today's podcast.
