The Calling is now available as a trade paperback at Amazon or, if you'd like a signed copy, you can PayPal me the retail ($14.95) plus a dollar if shipping in the U.S. or, if out of the country, email me your location and we'll work it out: robert (at) robertswartwood (dot) com.

Look what came in the mail today.

Yep, ten copies of The Dishonored Dead. At some point in the not-so-distant future I plan to do another giveaway via Goodreads, but it won't be until the current giveaway of The Serial Killer's Wife is over. And then when I do, I'll make the contest only fifteen days or so, as a full month seems much too long.
Anyway, because this is a much thicker book, the list price of The Dishonored Dead is $14.95. Come on, that's only a dollar more! And it is a thick book, 366 pages, but note that this is only the novel; bonus material found in the ebook (like the two short stories and author interview) are only for the ebook edition, because ebooks are cool like that.
You can purchase a copy directly from Amazon, or if you'd like a signed copy, you can PayPal robert (at) robertswartwood (dot) com the list price plus an extra dollar if you're in the U.S. and if you're out of the country, then email me so I can calculate a reasonable shipping cost.
I usually try to update this blog regularly but I've been pretty busy with life stuff -- basically switching jobs and getting all the training for the new job out of the way -- so it's been pretty quiet around here, but I wanted to share two movie trailers worth watching. The first is a movie that could be really good or really crappy. It doesn't help that Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy star in it, as their track record hasn't been very good lately, but still, the movie shows some promise.

The second trailer is for a movie whose novel I read awhile back and sort of forget but remember liking and the trailer itself looks just amazing. Something tells me this won't be a big money maker at the box office, but it's sure to be quality.
