The Dishonored Dead

New Year, New Promotion

So 2012 has begun, and to celebrate, I'm giving away two e-books on Kindle. For the next several days, you can download The Dishonored Dead and No Shelter for free. That's right -- FREE.

US Kindle / UK Kindle

So if you haven't checked these out (and even if you have), please download them and help spread the word. Even if you don't have a Kindle, there are plenty of apps to read on practically any device. Enjoy!

P.S. My friend Adam Perry's children's book Mister Ray is currently free too. Download it!

I'm A Zombie Friendly Novelist

John Sears and the kind people at The Zombie Rights Campaign have nominated The Dishonored Dead for "Zombie of the Year." Here's a little of what they say:

Rare insight into the Zombie condition and an uncommon willingness to address the concerns of the Differently Animated earn Robert Swartwood a nomination for Zombie of the Year 2011. Even if, you know, technically I have no evidence he’s Undead per se.

Also nominated are Hannah Eiseman-Renyard and the cast and crew of "Z-Town: The Zombie Musical." The award will be announced next week. Good luck to my fellow nominees, and thanks to John and the ZRC for the honor of just being nominated.

Be Thankful For Free Zombies

It's the day before Thanksgiving, and to show you how much I'm thankful for all your support, I'm happy to announce there's a special promotion on my e-book In the Land of the Blind for immediate free download on Kindle. Currently it's only free in the US Kindle store, but will hopefully become free in the UK and other Kindle stores soon. Keep an eye out, and have a safe holiday weekend.
